Amber and I would like to give out a special thanks to Scott Pfeffer from Cyclesmith (link is on the right of the page). He has greatly helped us with planning our trip, and purchasing the proper equipment. Once again, Thank you.

"If only there were some kind of giant world wide river of information, available at any time to anyone in the world who has the right equipment, that is relatively easy to use, and available at a nominal expense.......but where would we get such a thing?"

Testing our Camping Gear
Amber and I did a test run of our equipment before we start our trip. We packed up everything we planned on taking, and biked 13 miles to Lake of the Falls in Mercer, WI. Everything worked out great except the fleece blanket. Not very warm, but we have not decided if we are going to replace it or not. Summer is arriving, and instead of spending money on a blanket, we may use the money on a motel room for a few nights.

Training for Biking Out West
If you might have not heard, Amber & I are training to bike out west. Everything is going very well; except for the weather is not on our side. This morning we biked 20 miles in 43 degree weather with on and off snow fall. How does that saying go? “That which does not kill you will only make you stronger”. From my point of view, they are full of sh*t.
